Ford Developing Laser Ignition to Cut Exhaust Emissions

Very clever move! Instead of using a spark plug, a laser is used to ignite the fuel. This makes the engine more reliable and more efficient (not to mention that it can start in the dead of winter).

I’ve been very impressed with Ford lately - they’re dedicated to developing electric cars and improving the internal combustion engine. Well done!
